DIVERSITY & EQUALITY

In its most recent report, the World Economic Forum said it would take another 202 years to close the economic gender gap at today’s rate of progress. Although the gap has narrowed since 2017, there is still much work to be done. With the assistance of tools to map out areas for improvement in the workplace combined with evidence-based actions, we can erase unconscious biases from the professional environment. With better team work and awareness the world may not have to wait two centuries to achieve gender parity after all.

The responsibility sits with both men and women working collaboratively to resolve gender inequality. Therefore, it is important we implement strategies equally benefiting all genders in order to reach true equality.

Increasing diversity can elevate the cognitive capability of an organisation. Diversity has been proven to boost productivity, innovation, and attracts and retains the best talent. Diversity alone will not drive better business results, leveraging diversity through inclusiveness will foster equality in organisations.

Companies with the strongest rates of gender diversity on their executive teams have 30 % more value creation.

OUR SOLUTION

THE APPROACH

People expect greater transparency in the workplace and on issues such as diversity and equality. We also need information in order to address and correct where we go wrong.

To be able to overcome the issues, we need data. Therefore recording and collecting information is vital to solving the equality challenge.

By collecting data and implementing transparency, we will get the answers on where change is needed. In that way organisations get to see themselves as their employees see them.

When we implement effective policies and actions in the right place, we will be able to design behaviour that will further equal the playing field. It will also remove human error made by unconscious bias and prejudice.
